IMO, he was treated with kid gloves by all in attendance including Lorne Nystrom of the NDP the only political party that has even taken notice of the plight of security certificate detainees.
Also present were reps. from Citizenship and Immigration, the Solicitor General's Office, and the RCMP.What is apparent from reading this transcript is a complete lack of urgency (and humanity) relating to the ongoing incarceration of these five men. If one of these committee members had a son who was picked up on a security certificate...imagine the urgency we would be witnessing then! Well, at least this matter is being discused publicly. For once!
